Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist with Home Health specialization for a weekday assignment based in Walla Walla, Washington. This role involves providing patient care to geriatric populations in a home health setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely therapy services. The position requires a licensed professional committed to documentation standards and capable of managing a caseload within the assigned territory.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in hand, at least 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for staff completing Start of Care (SOC), OASIS experience required, active drivers license, personal transportation, and recent experience with a patient load of 5-7 patients daily.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with geriatric patient populations, familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation, and prior work in home health settings.
- Additional Information: All charting must be completed by 9 a.m. the following morning. The assignment includes coverage within a territory up to 60 miles, including parts of Walla Walla county, Columbia county, and Umatilla county. Timely communication and documentation are mandatory. All travelers are required to attend Monday orientation. RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application, and on-call rotation may be required during the assignment.
