Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience for a trauma level 2 teaching facility.
Details
- Work in the Heart Cath Lab at the main hospital campus
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Floating is not required
- On-call requirements include 1 night weekly and 1 weekend every 4th weekend
- EPIC EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab specialty experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- ARRT certification with FL license required, or RCIS, or RCES (license required if applicable)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures
Additional Information
- Facility is a trauma level 2 teaching hospital
- Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
- Orientation held every Monday
- Prior travel experience is not required, making this a good fit for first-time travelers
- Local candidates are accepted, except those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
