Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment with 12-hour shifts
- Schedule of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Option to pick up an additional 4-hour shift on another mutually agreed day
- Possible on-call coverage if a 2nd or 3rd shift tech is unavailable due to PTO or illness
- 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases required
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
- Current State/District license required if applicable
- Must have an active license, no pending licenses accepted
Additional Information
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, analyzing body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position patients
- Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, and management of contrast reactions and codes
- Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
