Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist to work in Enid, Oklahoma. This position involves operating computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring the production of high-quality radiographs. The role requires providing support during procedures, preparing rooms, managing supplies, and accurately scheduling exams while entering correct charge codes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Thursdays through Saturdays, with potential for additional hours on another day of mutual acceptance. The shift hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, totaling 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke procedures
- Associate's Degree or equivalent, with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active AART RT(R)CT certification
- Valid State/District license
- Additional Information:
- The candidate must be willing to participate in on-call duties if needed, especially when a second or third shift technologist is absent due to PTO or sickness. On-call duties are generally not required unless coverage is needed.
- Ability to operate CT and radiographic equipment, adjust technical factors, review physicians' orders, and manage clinical data to produce high-quality images while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies management, contrast reactions, and emergency codes.
- Capable of scheduling and completing exams accurately, including entering proper charge codes.
