**Exciting Opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist - Days!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team as a Radiologic Technologist and perform all radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols. - Engage in constructive communication with: - Patients - Families - Physicians - Co-workers - Other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. - Uphold department standards by maintaining: - Policies and procedures - Confidentiality - Quality assurance and safety - Radiation protection standards - Infection control standards - Universal precautions - Identify each patient and verify exam orders for: - Alignment with clinical diagnosis - Accuracy of demographic information including: - Physician's name and signature - Patient's name - Date - Utilize VH HIS and PACS computer systems to document patient information effectively. - Embody the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values in every interaction. - Be adaptable and willing to take on other duties as assigned, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. **Experience:** - One year of experience in radiology preferred. **Certifications/Requirements:** - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. **Education/Skills:** - Strong computer skills required within 90 days of employment to meet job-specific competencies. - Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. **Patient Age Groups:** - Neonatal/Infant (0-11 months) - Required - Pediatrics (1-12 years) - Required - Adolescence (13-17 years) - Required - Young Adult/Adult (18-64 years) - Required - Adult/Middle-aged (65-79 years) - Required - Geriatric (80+ years) - Required **Shift Information:** - Days, 10-hour shifts. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
