Job Summary:
The position of Xray Technologist is located in Dillon, Colorado. This role involves performing all radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols, maintaining effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. The technologist will adhere to department policies, safety standards, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions, while utilizing the facility's HIS and PACS systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies. Must have a working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in radiology is preferred but not required.
