Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment with call rotation, requiring current ARRT certification and state licensure.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department setting
- Full-time day shift schedule with call rotation
- 13-week assignment length
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Reports to the Imaging Director
- Works with pediatric and geriatric patient populations
- Overnight housing accommodations available for out-of-town employees
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of radiology technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification required
- State licensure required if applicable
- Must maintain continuing education credits per ARRT requirements
- Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duty as needed
- Understanding of age-related developmental considerations for pediatric and geriatric patients
Additional Information
- Performs radiographic procedures under the guidance of a radiologist to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries
- Collaborates with other departments on patient care and performance improvement activities
- Works effectively with patients and their families
- Adheres to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies
