Description
American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with strong orthopedic experience to float between two clinic locations on a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic care
- Patient population includes conditions such as ankle sprains, cervicalgia, degenerative disc/joint disease, frozen shoulder, low back pain, osteoarthritis, sciatica, and post-op orthopedic and spinal surgeries
- Utilizes treatment techniques including gait training, extremity and spinal mobilization, McKenzie method, myofascial release, lumbar traction, taping, and prosthetic training
- Uses WebPT for charting
- Day shift schedule, typically 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- 13-week contract length
- Requires floating between two clinic locations approximately 9.4 miles apart (about 17 minutes)
- Typical float schedule is 2 days at one clinic and 3 days at the other, depending on clinic needs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required, with strong outpatient orthopedic experience
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Active PT license required if applicable; CA state license required, pending applications accepted with proof of application
- New graduates are welcome to apply

- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic patients using a variety of manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques
