Purpose/position code/classification/level/work relationships
- Coordinates and manages grant-funded curriculum development and pathway alignment initiatives within Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

- Non-exempt, non-bargaining unit
- Reports to: Dean of Career and Technical Education
- Principal Working Relationship: Dean of Career and Technical Education, CTE faculty and academic department staff, curriculum committee, Institutional Effectiveness staff, secondary school partners and Education for Employment (EFE) districts, industry and employer partners, workforce and economic development organizations, external contractors and grant administrators.
- Serve as the primary liaison for CTE curriculum development and improvement among faculty, curriculum consultants, secondary school partners, employers, and workforce organizations.
- Coordinate curriculum mapping, alignment, and program redesign efforts, ensuring compliance with institutional curriculum policies, procedures, and approval processes.
- Facilitate employer engagement in DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) processes and related curriculum improvement activities.
- Draft, edit, and format new and revised curriculum documentation based on input from faculty, industry, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize curriculum management systems to enter, update, and track curriculum proposals and approvals.
- Support integration of work-based learning into CTE programs.
- Support employer outreach, scheduling, and coordination for DACUM sessions and advisory input.
- Collaborate with secondary partners to strengthen and expand dual credit pathways and early college opportunities.
- Support development of competency-based education (CBE) foundations and identify opportunities for credit for prior learning (CPL).
- Track progress and maintain documentation for grant activities and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned within grant parameters.
- Drafting new curriculum and redesigning existing curriculum
- Identification of industry credentials and alignment opportunities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the college’s emergency procedures and actively participate in the college risk-management program.
- Monitor conditions, events and circumstances that present risk to the college community. Intervene and/or report as specified in the college’s risk-management plan.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional experience in education, workforce development, training, program coordination, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, employers, and education partners.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment in accordance with applicable federal and state equal opportunity laws.
- Experience with curriculum development or instructional design processes.
- Familiarity with Career and Technical Education (CTE) or community college environments.
- Knowledge of dual credit, competency-based education, or credit for prior learning models.
- Experience working with grant-funded initiatives and external partners.
- Spanish or French proficiency preferred.
- Basic dexterity skills (computer work, telephoning, and other office equipment).
- General physical effort required includes sitting, bending, reaching, and some lifting (20 lbs. or less) and the ability to place a work order for anything over that limit
- Operation of a motor vehicle as required for travel to position responsibilities.
