Customer Service Representative

TrueHeritage Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a well-established insurance agency in the Lake Suzy area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience in a professional office setting who is organized, personable, and eager to learn. Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required — the agency is willing to train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, communicates professionally, stays organized, and is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to new and existing clients
• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and client inquiries
• Assist customers with questions and requests while ensuring timely follow-up
• Process and maintain client paperwork, records, and documentation
• Perform data entry and keep customer information accurate and up to date
• Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and insurance carriers
• Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities
• Learn insurance products, terminology, systems, and agency procedures
• Work closely with the agency team to provide a positive client experience

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in an office or professional setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting directly with customers
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous insurance or insurance agency experience
• Experience in an administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support role
• Familiarity with insurance terminology or policy servicing
• Current Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License is a plus, but not required to be considered

Licensing

Previous insurance licensing is not required at the time of hire. The selected candidate will receive training and will eventually be expected to obtain their Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License as they develop in the position.
