What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 1+ year in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations. (pallet/manufacturing experience a plus).
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with TMS/WMS or inventory management systems a plus.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to track shipments and spot discrepancies.
- Communication & Organization: Work well with internal teams and external partners.
What You'll Do:
- Process and verify incoming shipments-ensure everything matches work orders.
- Prepare outgoing pallet loads and keep shipments on schedule.
- Maintain accurate shipping & receiving records-digital logs & documentation.
- Coordinate loading and unloading schedules with carriers and drivers.
- Be the main point of contact for truck drivers, vendors, and visitors.
- Use inventory management software (COLT/Blue Yonder) to optimize workflow.
- Perform pre-shift door checks, assign loads, and coordinate with forklift drivers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies (OSHA, MSDS, etc.)
- Support office management, accounting, and customer service as needed.
