Location: Maryland
Job Type: PRN / Part-Time Contract
Pay: $20.00/hour
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed
Contract: Initial 10-day contract with potential for extension or permanent part-time employment
Schedule: Flexible; weekday and weekend availability required
Position Overview
Premier Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Office Team Lead to support our home care agency.
This is a dual-role position that combines office administration, team oversight, staff coordination, and healthcare partner outreach. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking initiative, communicating professionally, supporting a team, and representing the agency when communicating with healthcare and community partners.
Healthcare, home care, medical, or social work experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support assigned team members.
- Assist with staff scheduling, coordination, and follow-up.
- Support daily office and agency operations.
- Communicate professionally with staff, applicants, clients, and community partners.
- Make and receive professional phone calls.
- Assist with applicant interviews and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation.
- Assist with scheduling and administrative coordination.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare partners, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Conduct professional outreach and follow-up with healthcare partners.
- Travel occasionally to healthcare facilities and community events for business-related activities.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations.
- Assist management with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, staff, and agency information.
- Follow agency policies and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Some college or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
- Healthcare, home care, medical, or social work experience preferred.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience is welcome; additional experience is a plus.
- Experience building professional relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, referral sources, or other organizations is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to oversee and support a team.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating professionally.
- Flexible schedule with weekday and weekend availability.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, Office 365, and similar platforms.
- Comfortable learning and using technology and AI tools.
- Must provide professional references.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must complete required TB screening and drug screening.
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
Contract & Advancement
This position begins with an initial 10-day contract. Based on performance, reliability, communication, and agency needs, the contract may be extended or the individual may be considered for permanent part-time employment.
Opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement may be available.

- Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
- Up to 10 hours per week as needed

- Occasional work-related travel may be required
- Gas stipend may be provided for approved work-related travel
- Part-time telework may be available based on agency needs
