Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient setting in Albemarle, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized therapy services to adult patients, primarily focused on individuals with cognitive impairments, stroke recovery, aphasia, trach, or swallowing difficulties. The position offers a comprehensive opportunity to deliver impactful care within a collaborative team environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Drivers License and proof of Insurance; home health experience of at least 1 year; proficiency with Homecare Homebase Electronic Medical Record (EMR); ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC Rover and Mosia, strong communication skills, ability to travel throughout designated areas including Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy, and nearby towns.
  • Additional Information: The role entails traveling approximately 60-80 miles daily, with no maximum mileage restrictions. Visits are scheduled the day prior to service, and cancellations are not counted as visit equivalents. The candidate will be responsible for scheduling patient visits, utilizing provided Samsung Note 9 phones for documentation. The team-oriented culture emphasizes self-motivation and effective communication.
