Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient position in Caldwell, Texas. This role involves providing evaluation and treatment for a diverse patient population in an inpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, wound care, and other general therapy cases. The position offers a flexible daytime schedule and the opportunity to work with a supportive nursing and therapy team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call required.
- Required Qualifications: Texas state license and national license. BLS Certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Special Notes: Candidates must have a clean professional record, have not been employed directly by affiliated facility organizations within the past year, and be comfortable with a general caseload including fractures, ortho injuries, neuro cases, amputations, and neck pain. Wound care experience is preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: The department is highly supportive, with a team of 2 full-time PTs providing assistance. The unit treats approximately 7 patients per treatment hour, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. The team is expected to participate in a brief department-specific orientation.
