Job Description
Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.
Estimated Duration: 1 year
Desired Qualifications:
- The Drafter 2 position requires 2-5 years of drafting experience.
- An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- CAD drafting of transmission line centerline right-of-way, boundary, topographic, and land tie surveys.
- This position will be responsible for interpreting and writing “metes and bounds” or “centerline” descriptions for assigned projects.
- This position will support the survey field crews and office personnel by, but not limited to, researching existing survey and real estate records, contacting local and state agencies for right-of-way information, and transmitting completed projects.
