Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Missouri. The role involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practices and providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. Under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will deliver a variety of procedures, assess patient progress, and communicate treatment outcomes to the supervising therapist.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant; minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings; PTA license is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The PTA will provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
