Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. This role involves developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: One (1) year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience; MO State License; CCC certified SLP; active ASHA and State Licensure; ability to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists; adherence to ASHA and State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics; submission of at least one reference at the time of application
- Additional Information: Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Assesses patient progress, adjusts treatment plans accordingly, and documents all clinical activities in the electronic documentation system. Participates in required meetings, trainings, and conferences. Able to obtain necessary DME or supplies and supervise supporting staff as needed.
