Position Description

The General Laborer is responsible for the manual labor needs of the grading and excavation crews. Daily the General Laborer will assist in preparing the construction site with materials, tools, setting up barricades, and performing clean up of debris. The General Laborer will operate small handheld tools such as drills, saws, and compactors. The General Laborer is vital to the safety and continuation of the project.


Job Duties:

  1. Prepare construction site with tools, materials, barricades, and debris removal.
  2. Assist in the operation of small handheld tools.
  3. Physically lift and carry materials, stone, rock, etc.
  4. Assist in other tasks as assigned by foreman.

Job Requirements:

  1. Ability to meet physical demands of the job.
  2. Must be able to work weekends, night shift and overtime.
  3. Must have a valid Driver’s License and willingness to commute to job sites.
  4. Must pass drug screen and physical.
  5. Must comply with criminal background check.
