Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Dundee, Kansas, United States. Start date 08/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,340–$2,476 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15). Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital; Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide RN-level obstetric care for laboring patients and postpartum/newborn care as needed, including continuous fetal monitoring and maternal status assessment.
- Administer medications, manage labor progress, assist with labor and delivery procedures, and respond to obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the OB team.
- Perform newborn assessments, support breastfeeding, and contribute to discharge planning and family education.
- Document care and interventions in the medical record; support handoffs and care coordination across shifts.
- Be willing to float to medical-surgical units and provide pediatric care as overflow; EPIC experience is highly preferred.
- Participate in on-call shifts, weekend coverage, and holiday rotations as scheduled; uphold infection control and safety standards.

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in Kansas (or eligibility/activation with applicable approvals)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; must have taken a fetal monitoring class within the last 24 months; must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of LDR experience; willing to float to MS and care for pediatric patients; 3+ years LDR in rural hospital settings and prior travel experience are a plus; EPIC experience is highly preferred
- Education: Not specified in notes
- Ability to work the listed shift and participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations; capable of delivering safe, patient-centered obstetric and neonatal care
