Position Overview
The Environmental & Facilities Technician is responsible for providing professional cleaning, environmental services, and facility support to assigned commercial properties and client locations.
This position plays an important role in maintaining clean, orderly, and properly serviced facilities. The technician is expected to follow established procedures, complete assigned work efficiently, maintain professional standards, and communicate any issues or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and willing to take initiative when completing assigned responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Environmental Services Technicians may be responsible for:
Performing routine commercial cleaning and janitorial services
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces
Removing trash and maintaining waste areas
Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
Restocking restroom and facility supplies
Maintaining assigned areas according to Crenshaw Janitorial standards
Following client-specific cleaning procedures and service requirements
Quality & Customer Service
Technicians are expected to:
Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently
Maintain professional conduct while working at client locations
Follow established procedures and supervisor instructions
Report incomplete work, damages, safety concerns, or facility issues promptly
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Protect client property and confidential information
Work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
Safety & Compliance
Employees are expected to follow all applicable company safety procedures and client requirements.
Technicians must properly use assigned equipment, cleaning products, personal protective equipment, and other materials according to established procedures.
Safety concerns, accidents, injuries, damaged property, or hazardous conditions must be reported to management promptly.

Previous commercial cleaning, environmental services, custodial, or facilities experience is preferred but may not be required
Physical Requirements
