Busser / Food Runner (Lakeside Restaurant)

The Shady Nook Inn is looking for a reliable and hardworking Busser/Food Runner to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in keeping things clean and organized, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Run food from expo to tables accurately and promptly.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables quickly; keep service stations tidy.
• Restock silverware, napkins, condiments.
• Support servers, bartenders, and kitchen with ice runs, trash/recycling, and end-of-shift breakdown.
• Maintain clean floors, railings, and patio/dock areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Restaurant/hospitality experience helpful but not required—willing to learn.
• Able to stand/walk 6–8 hours; lift/carry up to ~40–50 lbs; handle trays safely on decks.
• Clear communicator; calm under pressure; team-oriented and reliable.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
