Tool and Die Technician

HiFyve is hiring a Tool Maker in the Manufacturing industry in Cincinnati, OH!

Salary: $30.00/hour (depending on experience) + $1.25/hour shift premium

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (10-hour shifts); occasional weekend shifts of 4–5 hours

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on complex fineblanking dies used in manufacturing operations.
• Diagnose tooling issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and tooling specifications.
• Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test tooling to ensure proper performance and quality.
• Operate manual machine tools and precision measuring equipment to repair and modify tooling components.
• Complete preventative maintenance on dies and tooling to maximize equipment life.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
• Experience maintaining and repairing complex fineblanking dies or similar precision tooling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and manual machine shop equipment.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance best practices and preventative maintenance procedures.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
