Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures
- Cross-trained cardiovascular technologist role covering EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs
- Scrubs EP procedures including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred)
- Scrubs cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and supports mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing)
- Supports neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
- 3x12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with variable start times between 6:00 AM-8:00 PM
- Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as required by department needs
Requirements
- State of CT Radiographer license required if applicable, in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- Expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices
- Preferred: Familiarity with Siemens equipment for licensed radiologic technologists
- Preferred: RCIS certification through CCI
- Preferred: Proficiency in structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman
- Preferred: Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging technologies including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems
- Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assist with high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases
- Uses Kronos for timekeeping
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
