Daycare Teacher Assistant

Compensation: competitive

We are looking for a part time and full time assistant teacher in a daycare classroom.

Please only apply if you have experience working with children ages 15 months - 6 years.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1) Organizes and leads developmentally appropriate activities for children
2) Organizes and participates in games, read to children and teach them skills in areas including fine motor, gross motor, emotional development and cognitive development.
3) Directs children in eating, resting and toileting
4) Helps direct children in developing habits for caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys
5) Have excellent communication skills with students, colleague, and parents
6) Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children

We are also looking for a person who can present a professional work style including the following expectation:

High school degree
First Aid Training, CPR Training, Certified Teacher, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development Associate (CDA), Early Child Development Coursework
