Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing) – $26+/hrShift Availability & Pay

  • Day Shift: $26.00/hr
  • Swing Shift: $26.00/hr + 10% Shift Differential
  • Graveyard Shift: $27.00/hr + 15% Shift Differential

Position Summary

A leading electronics manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support quality assurance operations within a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing quality experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on components, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements using precision inspection equipment.
  • Identify defects, non-conforming materials, and process deviations.
  • Document inspection results accurately in quality records and databases.
  • Verify incoming materials and production documentation using ERP systems.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
  • Support production and quality teams in troubleshooting quality-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience performing incoming, in-process, or final inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.

Testing Equipment

  • Digital Multimeters
  • Ohmmeters

Additional Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • CMM experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • ERP/SAP experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
