Job Description
Pridestaff is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Material Handler/Sit Down Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company in Fontana, CA. This is a long-term position with an opportunity for hire. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.
- Pay Rate: $21.00 to $22.00
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00pm to 6pm
Job Description: We are looking for a sit down forklift driver for our 3rd shift. Will operate a forklift 50% of the time. The other half of the time, the employee will be Material Handler which consists of loading paper rolls by hand into the machine and then helping to unload them when roll is empty.
Job Duties: Perform the following general warehouse duties: Picking orders with a manual pallet jack, put away, labeling, packing and building pallets. Position requires knowledge and use of an RF Scanner.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months recent experience of general warehousing experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment) Corrugated box manufacturing experience highly desired
- Must have recent experience operating a sit down forklift safely
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and pull throughout the shift.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
