Job Description
Position Title
Bilingual Warehouse Operations Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a take-charge, self-motivated Bilingual Warehouse Operations Lead to run day-to-day operations for a well-established, high-end furniture and jewelry resale company in South Florida. This company buys and sells premium furniture and jewelry across three warehouse locations, all within walking distance of one another: a receiving/delivery warehouse, a refurbishing warehouse, and a showroom. All three locations need structure, organization, and strong leadership.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can walk in, quickly get familiar with the operation, bring order to unorganized spaces, and take full ownership of shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team of several warehouse employees and become a true right hand to the owner — someone the owner can rely on to run the warehouses independently.
Apply now if you are a natural leader who thrives on building structure, managing people, and taking charge of an operation from the ground up! Great opportunity for a hands-on manager who wants ownership over a growing, high-end operation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of daily operations across all three warehouse locations (receiving/delivery, refurbishing, and showroom).
- Organize and bring structure to warehouses that currently lack systems and organization.
- Lead, train, mentor, and manage a team of several warehouse employees.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving functions, including incoming deliveries and outgoing orders.
- Learn the flow of merchandise across the three locations, from delivery to refurbishing to showroom placement.
- Track and manage inventory listed on SPPB, Chairish, and 1stDibs (online platforms used to list merchandise for sale).
- Become a trusted extension of the owner, communicating regularly on inventory status, operations, and priorities.
- Ensure all warehouse locations remain organized, efficient, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively resolve issues.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and best practices across all locations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading and managing warehouse or operations teams.
- Spanish speaking required
- Take-charge, self-starter personality with the ability to build structure and organization from the ground up.
- Comfortable managing multiple locations and overseeing several direct reports.
- Experience with high-end furniture, antiques, jewelry, or luxury goods is a plus.
- Familiarity with online resale platforms (SPPB, Chairish, 1stDibs) is a plus, but not required — willing to learn.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable working closely and directly with ownership.
- Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, squat, kneel, climb, and work in varying warehouse environments.
Schedule:
Full-time, Dayshift
Monday–Saturday
Compensation & Benefits:
Expected Pay: $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
