This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at guest service, and enjoys coaching a young, enthusiastic team. - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and coach up to 20 team members on peak shifts, fostering a positive, respectful, and supportive work culture for young crew members.
- Buffet & Food Quality: Oversight of buffet replenishment, food freshness, and quality control to deliver a top-tier guest experience.
- Guest Satisfaction: Address guest feedback promptly to uphold high restaurant reviews and service standards.
- Digital Checklists: Use app-based checklists to execute daily opening, closing, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Floor Maintenance: Ensure dining areas, food stations, and arcade spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of shift lead, supervisor, or manager experience in food service, quick-service (QSR), casual dining, or buffet concepts.
- Availability: Open availability required, with a primary focus on nights and weekends.
- Leadership Style: Patient, encouraging leader who enjoys mentoring first-time workers and teenagers.
- Culture Fit: Comfortable leading in a wholesome, family-friendly, and faith-oriented atmosphere with a commitment to respectful, positive communication (no swearing policy).
- Grooming Standards: Professional appearance (tattoos must be covered during shifts; modest facial/ear piercings).
- Bonus Skills: Prior experience with catering or managing delivery platforms (DoorDash, third-party apps) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base Pay: $16.00 – $17.50/hr (depending on experience) + overtime potential.
- Monthly Performance Bonuses: Earn up to $3,000 – $5,000 annually in monthly bonuses tied to achievable store metrics (cleanliness, customer ratings, buffet quality).
- Comprehensive Health Coverage: Group Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (66% covered for employee, 33% for dependents) plus voluntary accident and disability options.
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
- 2 weeks PTO starting in Year 1
- 3 weeks PTO after 3 years
- 4 weeks PTO after 6 years
- Meals & Discounts: Free meals on shift, plus a 20% discount for off-shift and family dining.
