Outside Sales Representative - KDR Design Showroom

We are seeking a Outside Sales Representative - Interior Design for our KDR St Louis Interior Design Show Room focused on residential and commercial interiors. This role involves supporting client relationships, coordinating with vendors, preparing presentations, and assisting with marketing and sales efforts. The position will collaborate within a cross-functional team and provide client support primarily via in person, phone, and email.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales by developing strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and design firms throughout the assigned territory. Representing a curated portfolio of luxury textile and wallcovering manufacturers, this role serves as a trusted design resource while driving specification, sampling, showroom traffic, and sales growth. Success in this role requires proactive business development, exceptional product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and a passion for the luxury design industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build client relations and provide ongoing support
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare presentation materials and documentation for client meetings
• Assist with marketing initiatives and sales coordination
• Follow up with customers to maintain engagement and satisfaction
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and sales teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Sales experience- interior design/ textiles background preferred
• Must have reliable transprtation and be able to travel when needed
• Strong client communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
