In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of our logistics network, including multi-state hubs, delivery fulfillment, fleet safety, and terminal management. You will lead a high-performing team of managers to ensure maximum efficiency, DOT compliance, and exceptional service delivery metrics across the state.
Core Responsibilities
- Network & Strategy Optimization: Design and execute scalable operational systems to improve regional routing efficiency, reduce transit times, and lower overall cost-per-delivery metrics
- Multi-Hub Oversight: Directly manage day-to-day operations across all statewide fulfillment centers, cross-dock terminals, and localized sorting facilities
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to local, state, and federal transport regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates, OSHA standards, and electronic logging device (ELD) tracking.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and build a unified statewide leadership team, fostering a culture focused on workplace safety, performance accountability, and operational excellence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, supply chain management, or high-volume parcel delivery operations.
- Statewide Scope: Proven track record of managing multi-site or regional distribution and transport networks.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Deep experience utilizing advanced Transportation Management Systems
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of DOT compliance, fleet licensing, state weight limits, and driver hours-of-service laws.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret delivery data, forecast bottlenecks, and implement lean process improvements.
Benefits & Compensation
- Performance-based annual bonus structure.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
- 401(k) program.
- Paid time off (PTO) and corporate holidays.
