Material Handler/Dock

Rexair is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler/Dock Associate to join our team. This position is part of a fully cross-trained rotation within the Fulfillment Department. Team members support receiving, warehousing, inventory management, production line fulfillment, shipping, and service manufacturing operations to ensure materials and products are accurately moved throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Essential Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Receive materials, complete required documentation, and distribute materials throughout the plant.
• Transport materials to and from warehouse locations and perform inventory transactions using company systems.
• Stage materials according to Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support production line fulfillment activities, including Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) operations.
• Perform cycle counts of finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-process inventory.
• Operate the cardboard compactor safely and efficiently.
• Support service manufacturing, picking, packing, and warehouse functions.
• Learn and operate computerized shipping systems.
• Use scales accurately for material and shipment processing.
• Perform all duties associated with receiving and shipping operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform inventory transactions using handheld scanners and computers.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Rexair internal equipment permits (ex. hi-lo).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

This position is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires:

• Continuous standing and walking on concrete floors.
• Frequent lifting/carrying of items up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional team lifting up to 80 pounds.
