Entry Level Cabling Helper

Location: Red Oak / DFW Area
Project Duration: Several Months
Schedule: Approximately 40–50 hours per week
Pay: $19.00–$20.00/hour

Position Summary

KS Staffing Group is seeking Entry-Level Cabling Helpers to support a telecommunications/data center project in the Red Oak/DFW area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in structured cabling and data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced cabling technicians with installation and routing of low-voltage cabling.
• Pull, route, and organize cable through designated pathways.
• Assist with cable labeling, bundling, and organization.
• Help prepare work areas and materials for installation.
• Use basic hand tools safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from lead technicians and supervisors.
• Follow all project safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working on ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Previous cabling, construction, warehouse, electrical, or low-voltage experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work 40–50 hours per week.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to learn cabling installation techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass any required client background screening or site requirements.
