Sales Application Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Application Engineer in Cranberry Twp, PA

Key responsibilities:
-Maintaining customer relationships through various communication channels
-In-person visits
-Conducting application testing and evaluation
-Assisting with product selection; developing solutions;
-Preparing proposals
-Conducting follow-ups.

Qualifications
*Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills; ideally, experience in the manufacturing industry (automation industry is a plus)
*Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
*General understanding of PLC-based controls, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including reading and interpreting schematics.
*Ideally, experience with conventional toolroom equipment, i.e., calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, including manual lathes, mills, surface-grinding equipment
*Experience with standard office software packages, e.g., Microsoft products.
*Ideally, experience with CAD software
*Ready to travel up to 20% annually
