Local Dedicated Company Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and responsible company driver to join our small team. The driver will safely transport materials, documents, and company items as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, punctual, and comfortable working independently. The candidate should have experience managing high-density urban routes, maintain a 99% on-time delivery rate, and demonstrate expertise in GPS route optimization, vehicle pre-trip inspections, safe cargo loading, and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities 

• Safely drive company vehicles for business-related trips.
• Transport company materials and documents as needed.
• Pick up and deliver supplies, parts, or company items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and vehicle use.
• Assist with general company tasks when driving duties are not required.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers, vendors, and employees.
• Forklift Driving Experience- both Stand-up and Sit-down, pallet jack, and cherry picker.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience with a previous employer.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry items when necessary.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed
