Information Management Lead Analyst (Taxonomy, Metadata & Knowledge Management)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Information Management Lead Analyst to lead enterprise taxonomy, metadata, knowledge management, and information governance initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for maintaining enterprise knowledge models, improving information quality and discoverability, supporting records management programs, and driving best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the enterprise knowledge graph and data map using Progress Semaphore (Smartlogic Semaphore).
- Manage taxonomy changes and metadata standards.
- Develop and execute SPARQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Design and maintain classification schemas, metadata models, and enterprise data maps.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to integrate knowledge models into enterprise systems.
- Support records retention, information lifecycle management, and governance initiatives.
- Lead or support content migration projects.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Information Management, Taxonomy Management, Metadata Management, Information Architecture, or Knowledge Management.
- Experience with Progress Semaphore (Smartlogic Semaphore).
- Experience developing SPARQL queries.
- Strong experience with SharePoint and Documentum.
- Experience supporting records management and information lifecycle programs.
- Experience in energy, Client, oil & gas, utilities, or another highly regulated industry preferred.
- Master's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Education
