Tree service Groundsman

M&M Trees LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Tree Service Groundsman to join our growing team. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a professional tree crew.

As a Groundsman, you will assist with tree removals, tree trimming, storm cleanup, forestry mulching, and property clearing while supporting climbers and equipment operators. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a positive attitude and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removals and tree trimming operations.
• Operate chainsaws safely and efficiently.
• Feed brush into wood chippers.
• Stack, drag, and process brush and logs.
• Assist climbers with ropes, rigging equipment, and job site setup.
• Help operate equipment such as mini skid steers, track loaders, and forestry mulchers (training provided if needed).
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow all OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining safety.
• Previous tree service, landscaping, construction, or logging experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
