Warehouse Lead - Day shift M-F hours

Job Summary:

AXIS Automation is seeking a candidate with vision to recognize opportunity, the determination to work hard and desire to improve with a fast-paced and growing organization. AXIS will train the right candidate and provide continuous training for future advancements.

The Warehouse Technician will provide support in warehouse operations to produce and deliver custom automation equipment to the baking and snack food industry worldwide. This team member will support production, inventory, assembly and shipping/receiving as well as provide assistance with customer product testing, local deliveries and clean-up.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with customer product testing
• Provide back-up to production team performing machining and fabrication of parts
• Support equipment assembly teams
• Prepare small-package shipments and assist with crating large equipment shipments
• Receive incoming material components, verify and distribute for use
• Keep shop clean and organized (material handling, sweeping, emptying trash, etc.)
• Run local pick-ups and deliveries using company truck
• Other tasks as needed per the direction of management and Logistics

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with high school education or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• Understand and communicate information effectively
• Stay on task and work with minimal supervision
• Utilize power and hand tools and operate machinery
