Location and Type of Service: 

  • IN-HOME AND CENTER-BASED SERVICES: Nassau & Suffolk County 
  • Centers in Melville and St. James

Hourly & Salary Positions Available: Flexible Scheduling

Pay Rate: $80-90 per hour based on experience and education in the field.  Full time salary options available.  

Hours Available: 

  • Mornings, afternoons, or Evenings)Saturdays for in-home cases
  • Saturdays & Sundays at our Melville and St. James centers

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to provide individualized in-home and center-based services for children with autism and developmental disabilities across Nassau and Suffolk County, including our centers in Melville and St. James. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is passionate about supporting diverse families and helping ensure accessible, high-quality care within the home, center, and community — including weekend availability for families and centers that need it.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide program supervision in-home and/or center-based
  • Conduct Assessments and develop Individualized ABA Treatment Plans
  • Conduct Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) sessions, equipping families with strategies to support their child's development
  • Train, coach, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results
  • Complete timely reauthorization reports, including updated assessments and progress data, to ensure continuity of care
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and clinical directors to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and intervention outcomes
  • Stay informed on the ethical standard and latest advancements in ABA practices

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • LBA required or in process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Experience working independently in home and/or center-based settings
  • Experience delivering Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) sessions
  • Experience implementing in-home or center-based Behavior Intervention Services (BIS)
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (BONUS POINTS)

  • Familiarity with ABA-based therapy platforms and electronic data collection tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
