Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a temp Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Saddle Brook, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Process cash applications and perform regular account reconciliations
• Investigate invoice discrepancies, customer deductions, and payment variances
• Identify high-risk accounts and assess potential bad debt exposure
• Resolve billing and pricing issues for large and complex customer accounts
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address account and payment matters
• Communicate with customers by email and phone to resolve outstanding balances and billing questions
• Monitor accounts receivable activity and follow up on open items to support timely collections
• Provide general accounting support, including journal entries and subledger maintenance, as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of AR experience
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify and address issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Familiarity with reporting and reconciliation processes
• Strong attention to detail
