General Manager - High-Volume Drive-Thru Restaurant

Job Overview

An established, high-volume fast-food location in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a hands-on, high-energy General Manager with extensive drive-thru restaurant experience.

This role requires a dedicated operator who treats the business like their own, leading drive-thru execution, driving speed of service, controlling labor and food costs, and building a motivated team. Key Responsibilities

• Drive-Thru Speed & Execution: Direct daily operations with an unyielding focus on drive-thru lane efficiency, order accuracy, drive-thru ticket times, and guest satisfaction during peak hours.
• P&L & Financial Management: Take full ownership of the store's financial metrics, including labor scheduling, food and paper cost control, inventory management, and revenue growth targets.
• Team Leadership & Retention: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain assistant managers, shift leaders, and team members. Foster a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and internal development.
• Operational Excellence: Enforce food safety guidelines, sanitation protocols, drive-thru cleanliness, and overall operational quality across every shift.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Conduct routine inventory audits, oversee ordering, manage waste, and maintain ideal food cost ratios.

Candidate Qualifications

• Drive-Thru Experience (REQUIRED): Solid management history in a high-volume drive-thru or drive-in quick-service restaurant (QSR) setting. Candidates without drive-thru management experience will not be considered.
• Leadership Background: Current or former Restaurant General Manager, or an experienced Assistant General Manager with proven readiness to step up to full store ownership.
• Financial Acumen: Direct experience controlling P&L line items, labor percentages, and food/paper margins in a high-volume drive-thru setting.
• Availability & Reliability: Open availability to work full-time hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak drive-thru volume hours.
• Hiring Requirements: Must pass a standard background check and provide professional management references upon request.
• Location: Must currently reside in or be able to reliably commute daily to Baton Rouge, LA.

Benefits & Compensation

• Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
• Monthly Bonus: Performance-based monthly bonus structure tied directly to store profitability and operational metrics
