About the Role:
THERAP-EASE INC is looking for a reliable and compassionate Delivery Driver to join our team in Plymouth, MA! In this role, you'll play a vital part in improving patients' lives by ensuring essential medical equipment is delivered safely and on time. Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver medical equipment to patients' homes, clinics, and healthcare facilities
- Set up and demonstrate proper use of delivered medical equipment to patients and caregivers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and patient documentation
- Pick up and process returned or exchanged medical equipment
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and company protocols for patient privacy and safety
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior delivery, logistics, or medical equipment experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. and handle large medical equipment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools
- Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with patients
