Semi Local Truck Driver

Long term employer in Central Oregon looking for Class A Truck Driver to operate 2025 Kenworth 880, 565 horse with full locking differentials, in Oregon and Washington while getting home nightly.

Duties

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers including flat bed and Curtain Vans.
• Operate in Oregon and Washington, HOME NIGHTLY
• Deliver freight accurately to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during trips.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance needs, and delivery documentation.

Skills

• Proven 2 years experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license to include flat bed experience
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Excellent route planning skills to ensure efficient deliveries across multiple locations.
• Exceptional driving skills in all types of weather, with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
