Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of production equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Technician

Location: Tigard, OR

Pay Range: $36.62

Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

  • Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
  • Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and parts used in the MP2 maintenance database.
  • Maintain backup equipment and ensure spare parts inventory levels meet manufacturing needs.
  • Assist industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers in equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Provide feedback to equipment development engineers and suggest improvements to maximize equipment uptime.

What's Needed?

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical concepts, systems, and product fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret advanced data, schematics, and manuals to resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working within a quality system environment and performing technical assignments independently.
