Shipping / Receiving - Forklift Opera

Our client, an industrial leader in warehouse and logistics operations, is seeking a Shipping / Receiving - Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Shipping / Receiving - Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse support team, ensuring efficient handling of materials and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping / Receiving - Forklift Operator

Location: Weslaco, TX

Pay Range: $12.50

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move raw materials or finished products.
• Verify, inspect, and count incoming/outgoing shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to track inventory, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate storage.
• Pick, pack, wrap, and label products for shipment.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to OSHA safety regulations.

What's Needed?

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Typically, 1–2+ years of experience in a warehouse or fast-paced logistics environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, often involving bending or kneeling.
• Proficiency with inventory software/scanning equipment and strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
