Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of CT experience
Details
- Hospital setting within a 40-licensed-bed facility, including 10 swing beds
- CT Scanner unit providing service to Emergency, Outpatient, and Inpatient units
- Monthly department volume of approximately 439 exams
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Performs ER CT exams, working independently as the sole CT Technologist in-house for most of the shift
- Responsible for nightly QA testing on Dexa unit and CT scanner
- 4x10 hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday-Thursday
- Every 5th weekend requires a day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Weeknights before and after weekend rotation reduced to 28 hours over 3 nights
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience required
- Must be able to work independently with minimal on-site support
Additional Information
- Caribbean blue scrub color required
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
