**Join Our Team as a Radiologic Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about providing top-notch patient care and utilizing advanced imaging technology? - As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and efficient radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. **Essential Functions:** - Demonstrate advanced knowledge of imaging procedures in at least two modalities. - Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards. - Ensure patient safety by inquiring about pregnancy status and protecting female patients from harmful radiation. - Execute quality control procedures as per manufacturer recommendations. - Operate imaging equipment according to specified guidelines. - Perform exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or in collaboration with the Radiologist. - Assist with clerical duties and transport patients when necessary. - Answer phone calls, direct queries, and accurately record messages. - Assist and train imaging staff as directed. - Report equipment issues promptly to the manager. - Show flexibility in adjusting schedules to accommodate emergencies or absences. - Work independently and exercise sound judgment. - Notify the Radiologist of all STAT or Emergent cases, providing necessary patient information. - Obtain informed consents when required and document medical history relevant to the procedures. - Foster a positive and supportive team environment. - Manage inventory of supplies by ordering and stocking as necessary. - Submit all required documentation to Health Information Management and the Radiologist. - Troubleshoot equipment problems and engage service engineers for maintenance. - Confirm exam orders and verify patient identification through two means. - Ensure all relevant paperwork and prior studies are ready for interpretation. - Participate in departmental activities and complete ongoing training as needed. - Rotate to other imaging modalities as required. **Organization-Wide Performance Expectations:** - Exhibit unwavering commitment to our values and represent the organization positively. - Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and vendors. - Maintain compliance with the dress code policy. - Display initiative while managing workload and time effectively. - Complete annual education and training requirements. - Uphold patient confidentiality at all times. - Arrive on time and complete tasks within designated timeframes. - Actively engage in performance improvement activities. - Adhere to safety, infection control, and risk management policies to safeguard everyone in the facility. **Qualifications Minimum Requirements:** - Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions). - Legally eligible to work in the United States. - Successfully pass a background check and drug screen. - Complete an employee health meeting. **Required Education/Licensure/Certification:** - Hold 2 (or eligible for and obtain within 1 year of hire date) of the following registries: - ARRT registration in Radiology (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Mammography (M), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S) - ARDMS registration in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS), Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB). - Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days). **Experience:** - Prior experience as a practicing Technologist in any of the modalities listed is preferred. - Willingness to cross-train into other modalities including CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography. - Strong communication skills. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. - Ability to navigate electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
