Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for a Cath Lab Technologist position to provide support for our client's healthcare system in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is a 13-week travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
• Modality: Cath Lab
• Equipment: Siemens Icono Floor & Siemens Icono Ceiling
• Schedule: M-F (4x10) + call (40 hours weekly)
• Role: Scrub, Pan, Circulate, Post-process
• Pay: $3,246 Weekly gross - eligible for benefits

Requirements:

• RT(R)(VI) or RCIS certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong Cath Lab experience
• Must be able to work within a 30-minute call radius

About The Role:

As a Travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be a key part of a specialized cardiovascular team, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, support physicians during complex procedures, and help provide safe, efficient patient care in a high-acuity Cath Lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including heart catheterizations, STEMI, PCI, and CTO procedures.
• Support device placement and ablation procedures.
• Assist with peripheral, renal, carotid, and other vascular procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and advanced Siemens imaging equipment during procedures.
• Perform sterile scrub and circulating responsibilities.
• Complete 2D and 3D post-processing as needed.
• Monitor hemodynamics during procedures.
• Utilize advanced imaging capabilities including CLEARstent, QVA, Needle Guidance, Embolization Guidance, and peristepping.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Experience: Strong Cath Lab experience required. The kickoff information did not specify a minimum number of years of experience.
• Certifications:
o RT(R)(VI) or RCIS
o Basic Life Support (BLS)
o Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Cath Lab procedures, fluoroscopic imaging, sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced imaging technology.
