At Penmac Staffing, we're seeking motivated Mechanical Assemblers who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy solving problems in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Unlike traditional assembly-line positions, every project is unique. You'll work with a skilled team to assemble complex mechanical systems from detailed drawings and specifications, helping bring custom-engineered products to life.

What You'll Do

Assemble mechanical systems and components using assembly drawings, diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Build and integrate custom equipment to customer specifications
Use pneumatic hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices
Perform mechanical measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards
Follow torque specifications and assembly procedures
Meet production goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship
Collaborate with team members to solve assembly challenges and improve processes

What We're Looking For

Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and diagrams
Experience with hand tools, power tools, or mechanical assembly preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills in a Windows-based environment
