About the Role:
Provider Health Services LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join their team in Worthington, OH. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
- Provide mobility assistance including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests for assistance
- Support clinical staff with basic patient care tasks and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Ohio preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or home health setting is a plus
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical needs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including evenings or weekends
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- We will prefer someone with experience working with someone who has dementia (A PLUS)
