PTA Physical Therapist Assistant

The PTA Physical Therapist Assistant supports patient recovery and rehabilitation in an outpatient clinic setting by assisting with treatment plans, exercises, and patient education. This role involves close collaboration with multiple therapists to ensure comprehensive care tailored to all patient cases. The position offers opportunities for professional development without requiring travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and treatment implementation
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses
• Provide patient education on therapy techniques and recovery
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapists and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure proper use of physical therapy equipment
• Support a safe and therapeutic outpatient clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Current PTA license

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in physical therapy assistance
• Knowledge of patient care and rehabilitation techniques
• Familiarity with therapeutic exercises and treatment protocols
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Understanding of anatomy related to physical therapy
• Experience with physical therapy equipment
• Excellent communication and empathy skills
